Gilman Tavern Inn knows how busy life is and how precious the times are when you can slip away and enjoy our quiet area for a day or two between the lakes and the foothills of the White Mountains. We’ve designed several varieties of late fall/early winter weekend getaways. And all of our packages have optional “custom design” features that allow you to tailor your weekend to suit your personal likes and needs. Our weekend rates include afternoon tea, evening desert and a full breakfast. These packages cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers.

Stay at Home with Us (Expires May 2, 2009)

This package is designed for anyone wanting to just get away and stay “at home” for the weekend. Check in and never leave the Inn (unless you want to) or add to the basic package and go out for dinner at one of the fine local restaurants one evening. Spend the day curled up with a book, watch a movie, play cards and games or venture out for some late autumn hiking, stroll around the village or walk through the beautiful woods around Tamworth. Basic plan includes two nights lodging and take-out dinner both nights from local “to-go” restaurants. To allow you to “stay at home” we will place your order for you, pick it up and deliver it to you in our dining area. Customize your package by adding an in-room massage for one or both of you.

Basic package starts at $199; price does not include tax, gratuities or liquor.

Arts Council of Tamworth Season

Music lovers will appreciate the wide array of spectacular performances scheduled for this year’s concert series. To relieve the stress of winter driving, our basic package includes one night’s lodging either before or after the performance and tickets for two. Customize your package by adding dinner at a local restaurant or an additional night.
